Canada’s rock and roll legend Bobby Curtola’s fiancee, Karyn Rochford, was killed yesterday in a crash on Highway 103 in Maitland.
The head-on collision involving three vehicles happened around 1 p.m during strong windy conditions and rain.
RCMP says it’s possible weather played a role. A 68 year-old man from Chester was taken to Bridgewater hospital with minor injuries.
On Bobby Curtola’s official Facebook page is a message referring to Rochford as the love of his life.
The family is asking for the public to respect their privacy until after the funeral.
The two were expected to get married on Curtola’s birthday in April.
