RCMP say a 64 year-old woman has been taken to Halifax hospital after the motorcycle she was driving collided with an SUV on Highway 331 in Conquerall Bank.
Police, paramedics and members of the Conquerall Bank Fire Department responded to the scene around 12:20 p.m this afternoon.
Corporal Dal Hutchinson says the woman was transported to Halifax by EHS LifeFlight.
He would not confirm her injuries but it’s believed they occurred to her left leg.
Three occupants of the other vehicle were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A section of Highway 331 will remain closed until early evening while an RCMP collision analyst determines the cause of the crash.
Until such time, detour signs will remain in place.
