UPDATE: RCMP Say Four Are Dead After School Shooting In La Loche, Saskatchewan

RCMP issued an update tonight on a tragic shooting incident in northen Saskatchewan. Four peope are dead and two others injured. Initial reports indicated that five people were killed.

They say shortly after 1pm today, complaints of gunshots were received and officers went to La Loche Community School.

RCMP say the shooting happened at a school and another location.

One person was taken into custody outside of the school.

They say the lockdown at the school has been lifted, and children were moved to a safe location.

No further details on the victims have been released as of yet.

Prime Minister Trudeau says his heart is breaking over the tragedy.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall said on Facebook that words cannot express his shock and sorrow at the horrific events in La Loche.

Other tweets, including one from the Governor General expressed shock and sympathy for the people in La Loche.

Many others also sent prayers to the victims and their families.
