A boat on fire along Yarmouth’s waterfront is still burning.
Firefighters were called to the Lobster Rock Wharf late last night.
The fishing vessel Fundy Commander is listing heavily with smoke coming from the vessel.
Yarmouth firefighters are still pouring water on it.
They tried to save the vessel last night but very high winds made it too dangerous.
An attempt was made to move the Fundy Commander away from the wharf but it was unsuccessful as the tide changed.
It is not know at this time where on the vessel that the fire started.
